Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist in medication reminders as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
Support clients with mobility assistance and personal care tasks.
Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function and maintain mental health.
Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or Dementia
Familiarity with home health practices and assisted living environments is a plus.
Strong observational skills to assess client needs and changes in condition effectively.
Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Certification as a nurse or relevant caregiver training is beneficial but not required.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
