We are seeking a Full Time Activity Coordinator to join our Team! You will perform a variety of activities throughout the day with clients. Responsibilities:
-Manage our activities calendar
-Organize on-site activities and events daily
-Organize off-site excursions
-Encourage resident and visitor participation
-Confirm bookings or reservations as needed
-Ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants
- Coordinate, supervise and conduct all daily activities
- Coordinate all parties and events including ensuring decoration are setup and put away
- Performs daily sittercise type exercises
- Make sure all day activities are on schedule
- Run daily bingo/lotteria and assist clients as needed
- Plan, conduct and assist with daily crafting projects with clients
- Supervise clients with activities/meals/outings/bathroom
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
- Perform/complete assigned tasks/duties daily
- Assist other departments as requested i.e. cleaning, daily tasks, cooking in kitchen as need
- Assist as needed with some house keeping duties i.e. mopping, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down tables at the end of the day
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish and English a plus but not required
- Previous experience in cleaning , multi-tasking, or other related fields
- Familiarity with cleaning Facility based environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work as a Team player
- Dependable/reliable
- Must be able to pass a back ground/criminal history check
- Home Health Aide/CNA experience a plus but not required
