Live in Caregiver needed for up to 6 residents - MUST; be legal to work in the US, pass background check and drug test, be trainable, be compassionate, have a good attitude, must be able to follow directions and be able to understand constructive criticism, must speak english, must be able to clean and cook. Job duties include but not limited to; light cleaning, cooking, small activities with residents, assisting elderly residents with activities of daily living, changing diapers, bathing, ect. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
NO SMOKING OR DRINKING ALLOWED
Shift - Tuesday to Saturday
Days off - Sunday and Monday
there is a second live in care giver so you two can let each other have nights off during days when working together which are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
You will have your own room and semi private bath as it is LIVE IN position, facility has food you are more then welcome to eat and or make your own meals. Once residents are down for day (usually before 7pm) you are free to relax about the home. This is a job that is good for someone who doesn't have alot of other obligations as it can be demanding at times.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a competent Live in Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It's an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. Job duties include but not limited to; light cleaning, cooking, small activities with residents, assisting elderly residents with activities of daily living, changing diapers, bathing, ect. The position is live in for a resident count of up to 6 elderly residents. Day usually starts at 7 am and ends before 7 pm most days.
