This is an entry level position, training will be provided. We are not looking for licensed physical therapy techs.
A rehabilitation tech is needed in a busy physical medicine and rehab facility.
Job duties will include:
Administer rehab treatments to patients, working under the direction of and as an assistant to the Doctor. Assure all patients receive scheduled rehab treatments and document rehab session or reason for inability to attend.
Perform active, passive, and/or resistive therapeutic exercises, based on general rehab principles.
Perform therapeutic massage on patients as prescribed. Perform general mobilization and/or passive stretch to patients, within limits of safety regarding joint/muscle stretch.
Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in learning and improving functional activities.
The hours are 9am to 6pm M-F with rotating Saturdays from 9AM to 12PM.
