Human Resources Assistant – Schertz, TX
As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and dispatch operations, primarily for crane services. Key responsibilities include assisting with employment verifications, payroll, health insurance inquiries, onboarding, offboarding, and providing administrative and social media support. Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 - $22.00.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform employment verifications and assist with payroll processing.
Address health insurance-related inquiries and manage DISA records (training provided).
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
Support team partner inquiries and customer interactions as needed.
Update and maintain company social media accounts and website content.
Provide dispatching support for crane services, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication.
Organize and maintain HR records and documentation.
Assist the HR team with ongoing projects and administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus, though not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
