We are a San Antonio-based staffing company dedicated to the precast concrete industry, seeking a committed and dynamic Recruiter to join our team.
As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified candidates in commercial construction roles. Your focus will include filling positions such as rod busters, concrete finishers, form carpenters, riggers, and other skilled trades. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand labor needs, maintain strong relationships, and ensure a smooth hiring process. This position requires high-volume recruitment expertise, a knack for conducting effective interviews, and proficiency in onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Source candidates through creative and compliant methods.
Screen resumes and applications to identify top talent.
Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates for various roles.
Post job openings on career pages, job boards, and other platforms.
Provide hiring updates to account managers.
Maintain applicant data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Address employee concerns promptly and professionally.
Participate in community events and team-building initiatives.
Perform other recruitment-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in staffing or recruiting, ideally within the construction industry.
Skills: Proficiency in HR procedures, knowledge of resume databases and ATS, and fluency in English (Spanish fluency preferred).
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficient with PCs and MS Office Suite.
Flexibility: This role requires a non-traditional schedule, with availability outside standard 8-5 hours as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary of up to $42k, plus commission.
