Working for the largest, most respected Cable TV Contractor in the State of TX, you will be burying coaxial or fiber cable 6 inches deep in customers front and back years. Experience with buries at Spectrum, AT&T, Google or other utilities preferred, but will train candidates with extensive work related shovel experience and good work ethic. Experience using plow or trencher desirable, but not required.
You will be a 1099 contractor being paid a minimum of $45 per bury. Most techs performing approx 4-5 buries per day, 6 days a week. Beginners start around 3-4 a day and build production as they gain experience. Even averaging 3 1/2 buries per day for 6 days, that equals 21 buries @ $45 = $945 / week. Pay is weekly.
YOU MUST provide your own truck, van or large SUV to use on the job. Must be able to tow a cable plow - total weight 1700 lbs. Plow provided to you. Your vehicle must be covered by standard State of Texas insurance. Have your own tools - not many required for bury positions (any tools needed can be purchased through the company). You must have business liability insurance. If a problem, we have options for you.
YOU WILL ALSO PROVIDE US WITH: Valid Driver's License, Social Security Card, Good Criminal Background- No Felonies involving violence or theft ever or for other felonies, no convictions or parole last 7 years - No misdemeanors or probation for last five years. No open or pending criminal court cases. Good Driving Record- limited tickets. Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
