Exempt Status: Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Aligning forms to desired depth and pitch,

Concrete finishers pour, level, and smooth concrete for surfaces such as roads, curbs, floors, and sidewalks.

Directing the casting of concrete, preparing and cleaning surface areas, and completing moldings using a variety of hand-held and power tools.

Mixing/blending interior plaster for pool installation

Using hand tools to apply interior finish

Using spray wands to remove surface plaster/material

Qualifications

This position will work a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime and Saturday Shifts.

Licenses/Certifications

None; reliable transportation to work

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Relevant experience in lieu of education is acceptable

Experience

Mag, steel or screed experience (required)

Previous stucco, gunite or shotcrete experience (preferred)

Knowledge of:

Pool Construction techniques

Skilled in:

Strong work ethic with excellent attendance

Using hand tools in a concrete environment

Ability to:

Climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl

Communicate in English and Spanish

Travel occasionally for work

Unrestricted lifting ability

Work in an open outdoor environment in varied weather

Work as a member of a team and individual contributor
