Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated and experienced laborers and operators to support our excavation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating excavation machinery and a strong work ethic. This role requires both physical labor and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of excavation sites, including preparing and clearing the site.
Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an excavator operator or in a similar role.
Valid operator’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., CDL, Heavy Equipment Operator Certification).
Strong understanding of excavation and construction practices.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Previous experience with various types of machinery and tools is a plus.
