Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pool Service Technician to join our team! As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and servicing residential and commercial pools, ensuring they are safe and in excellent condition for use. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
Test and adjust pool water chemistry to ensure safe and balanced water quality.
Inspect and troubleshoot (once taught) pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting.
Perform minor repairs and recommend larger repairs or replacements when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any issues to management.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about pool maintenance needs.
Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and equipment according to safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Pool Service Technician, Lifeguard, or if you've cleaned your own pool or similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Knowledge of pool equipment, maintenance, and water chemistry is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (60 #'s) and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
