Are you a reliable, detail-oriented team with a strong work ethic? We’re looking for a dedicated two-person janitorial team to join our school community. Help us maintain a clean, welcoming environment where students and staff thrive! The job is approximately 4-5 hours Monday through Friday, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. $2,000 per month; holidays not paid.
Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchen and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces, walkways, clean outside tables, and window ledges
- Emptying trash bins
- Restocking supplies in restrooms and cleaning areas
- Ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and presentable
- Light maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., replacing light bulbs, minor repairs)
- Communication with school staff to ensure that needs are met through a journal
Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently as a team and independently
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 50 lbs.)
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
