Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle storage facility. This role involves preparing vehicles for auction, performing basic mechanical tasks, and ensuring the lot and building exterior are well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles for auction, including washing, vacuuming, and basic mechanical work such as jump-starts, battery replacements, and tire changes.
Maintain the facility's exterior by mowing, edging, and keeping the lot and building clean.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing air filters for the A/C.
Occasionally run errands to local auto parts stores for needed supplies.
Conduct basic internet searches for parts and use Google Maps for navigation.
Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
Basic mechanical experience.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Familiarity with internet searches and Google Maps.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour lunch break. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
Off on all major holidays.
