Job Posting: Maintenance Technician II – Commercial Office Building

Salary: $22-28/hr, plus PTO, plus Health Insurance.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a commercial office building. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the building’s systems running smoothly, including heating, cooling, and other mechanical systems. If you have experience working with HVAC systems, especially pneumatic controls, and enjoy solving problems, this job is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including pneumatic controls.
Perform regular inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to make sure they are working properly.
Respond quickly to repair requests and handle maintenance problems.
Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues in the building.
Perform general maintenance tasks like changing filters, cleaning ducts, and replacing parts.
Keep records of maintenance work and repairs done.
Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and safe.
Work with other building staff to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
Strong experience with pneumatic controls for HVAC systems.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance.
Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
Strong communication skills to interact with building staff and tenants.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Ability to work flexible hours and be on call if needed.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in HVAC or maintenance-related fields.
Experience working in commercial office buildings.
