Job Description
The Plater would be responsible for preparing, securely racking and dipping interior aircraft parts into chemical baths to complete the electroplating process. Upon completion of the plating process, the plater will be responsible for visual inspections to ensure parts have a uniform and unblemished finished surface.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of electroplating equipment
Adequate eyesight with or without corrective lenses (safety glasses are required) to perform required work with necessary attention to detail.
Manage multiple tasks at one time efficiently
Determine the amount of time and electrical current to apply to parts during plating process in accordance with internal and standard manufacturing procedures
Time management and consistent follow-up regarding assigned work.
Have a very high standard for work performed and be able to quality control all work that comes through the plating department.
Attention to the details that high end customer base expects.
Assists team members with other functions within the facility through cross training in other departments as needed.
Works overtime as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Electroplating Experience (Preferred)
Driver's License (Preferred)
US work authorization
