G4 Ranch is looking to hire for a ranch hand position at our ranch in Bigfoot Tx.
Key Responsibilities: working cattle, mowing grass, filling feeders, operating equipment such as tractor or skid steer, fixing fence, building fence, working with hay and irrigation equipment, etc. The ideal candidate would have experience with all of these items or a great willingness and work ethic to show up and learn them if you do not already know some of them.
Required Skills: Must be able to perform physical labor like lifting, bending, kneeling, and work in various temperature conditions outdoors in South Texas. Lifting a 50lb bag of feed is a must. Must be able to adapt and have a flexible mindset as well as schedule as things often change throughout the day due to weather and other factors that ranch work throw at us.
Pay is $15 per hr if qualified and can perform all the above key responsibilities. If there are a few we would have to teach you, we are willing to do so however your pay may be a little less to start. However, if you have experience with the above things and can also show adequate problem solving and adaptability skills, your pay will be more.
