Registered Professional Land Surveyor, RPLS (part-time, as needed) – New Braunfels, TX

Position Overview
You will advise, supervise, coordinate, assist, provide oversight, review for quality assurance/quality control, and certify surveying projects including but not limited to boundary, topographic, and construction projects throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and California. You will work with our other survey team members and engineers providing survey to support infrastructure engineering projects for water authorities, municipalities, and private clients.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include advising, supervising, and working with our survey team to coordinate and complete survey tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating with our surveying, engineering and other teams, and with external clients to identify and schedule surveys. You will provide advice and/or oversight of topographical surveying, right-of-way (ROW) surveys, boundary surveys, easement preparation, and construction staking.
This role is for you if:
You have 15 or more years’ relevant survey experience. Relevant experience includes topographical surveying, ROW surveys, construction staking, property surveys, and/or boundary surveys
You are a strong communicator, both orally and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
You have Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and California RPLS certifications
You have experience with AutoCAD, although not required
You possess technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organization skills
You have a strong driving record and a commitment to safe operations
