We are seeking a Paralegal / Personal Injury Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
Our Case Manager is a key role and will work 8:30 a.m.-5: 30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a Fast-paced, labor intensive, heavy client contact type of position. Experience in a law firm is preferred. Duties include, but not limited to: case load in personal injury, taking and making phone calls from/to prospective clients, taking and making calls from/to clients, taking calls and making calls to insurance companies, scanning, preparing letters, meeting with clients, making copies, etc. Experience with Needles case management software would be great, but not required.
Paralegal experience not required, but if you have it, it is a plus. Paralegal duties would include;
Conduct some research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Knowledge on how to prepare a POP, file lawsuits, answer discovery
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Monitor and keep attorney's calendar current
Record and store client information
Handle 80-100 cases
