H. L. Zumwalt Construction, Inc. was established in 1968 by Henry Lee Zumwalt. It has since grown to be one of the most respected and trusted leaders in the asphalt paving industry. We are a family-owned construction company with multiple divisions seeking an accounts payable professional to manage obligations to suppliers and service providers. Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask under little to no supervision while maintaining a good attitude.
Acct. Payable Responsibilities:
Invoice Management – Receiving, logging and entering invoices into system
Supplier Relations – Fostering positive relationships with suppliers, respond to inquiries and negotiating terms
Policy Compliance – Ensuring compliance with internal controls, such as identifying duplicate or fraudulent invoices and preventing duplicate payments
Additional Duties as Assigned - Variety of administrative tasks as needed to complete company goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
Must have ability to operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including copy machine, and computer.
Strong phone skills
Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Punctual with strong attendance history
Team player with a good attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Acct. Payable experience is a plus
