The Restaurant Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative management support. Duties include general clerical, payroll, team member relations, guest service, and project-based work. Responsible for projecting a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Restaurant Administrative Assistant must be committed to LFCR Philosophy and Service motto and be able to demonstrate them throughout the organization.
The Restaurant Administrative Assistant must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week including lunch and dinner shifts. The schedule may also include weekends and holidays, as necessary.
Assist management in responding quickly to all comment cards, email, and letters from guests, either by phone or written correspondence.
Maintains ServSafe and TABC certification log for all team members.
Responsible for posting of current food and liquor licenses.
Maintain menu programming in the Aloha POS system.
Update daily sales and labor reporting to keep management informed.
Maintain record of cash handling overages and shortages on restaurant cashiers and alert managers and supervisors of any discrepancies.
Prepare weekly payroll reporting for submission to Accounting; reconcile weekly payroll data to verify accuracy of reporting and Team Member pay.
Work with Corporate Accounting team to ensure restaurant financial data is reported timely, accurately, and thoroughly.
Complete new hire processes for new team members; issue uniforms, set up employee record in reporting systems, assign locker if applicable.
Perform as liaison between team members and HR about employment policies and procedures, benefits, and team member requests.
Track customer and team member incident reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Outgoing, motivated, personable, professional demeanor.
Ability to read, write and articulate clearly in oral and written form.
Write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
Proficient in English, bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, volume, etc.
Proficient with Computers and intermediate level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable with large spreadsheets and multiple systems.
Knowledge of POS systems, office equipment, Accounting systems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must have at least a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Minimum of 2-years of experience in a clerical position.
Restaurant accounting experience and/or accounting coursework preferred.
