Personal Assistant / Household & Business Help (Part-Time, Alamo Heights, Flexible Schedule)
Busy restaurant owner seeking a reliable, mature personal assistant to help with day-to-day tasks at my home and restaurants. I also care for my elderly mother with dementia, so this role is hands-on and meaningful.
This is perfect for someone who is a self-starter, organized, dependable, and enjoys staying busy. Tasks are varied — no two days are the same.
Schedule
- Part-time to start (preferably 2 full days/week)
- Partial days possible
- Potential to grow into full-time
- Work primarily at my home or main restaurant in Alamo Heights
- Mileage reimbursed for errands
Tasks May Include
- Running errands (bank, AT&T, vendors, appointments)
- Light cleaning between cleaners (dishes, sweeping, mopping)
- Organizing closets, shelves, garage
- Plant care in between landscaper visits, raking leaves, general upkeep
- Filing, scanning, printing, paying bills
- Posting items on Facebook Marketplace
- Helping reheat meals for elderly parent
- Organizing storage areas at restaurants
- Communicating tasks to staff and following up
Ideal Candidate
- Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized, proactive, and a good communicator
- Patient and kind with elderly individuals
- Comfortable around one dog
- “Busy-body” energy and enjoys keeping things clean
- Basic computer skills a plus (training provided)
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license
- Able to run errands and handle light physical tasks
- Able to manage time and stay productive without supervision
