IT Project Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX / On-site

Contract-to-Hire

Project Manager Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• 10 years experience with progressive career growth and responsibilities
• 5 demonstratable years working in a data center environment
• Experience with enterprise network systems (OTV, ACI, VXLan)
• Experience with migrating applications between data centers
• Experience with virtualized server environments
  • VMware and Solaris
• Understands data center architecture
• Good understanding of optical network connectivity between data centers
• Able to accurately and concisely present status updates to Executive and Senior Leadership
• Responsible for engaging and overseeing multiple 3rd party vendors
• Able to review scopes of work, contracts and negotiate with 3rd party vendors
• Proficient with using scheduling software
  • Primavera
  • MS project
  • Smartsheet
  • Similar Software's
• Maintain and track detailed project budget
• Able to effectively work on a large team and consider multiple points of views
• Critical thinking to solve complex issues
• Effective communicator
• Excellent at taking notes and documenting conversations
• Requires very little to no oversight
  • It is expected that questions will be asked and critical decisions reviewed by Leadership, but overall, the PM will be in charge of the day to day project activities and report up
