Security Systems Technician
Intruder Alert Systems, Inc. – a 40 year old locally owned and established alarm systems company is seeking experienced technicians for long-term positions.
We install and service: Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Structured Wiring (Network), Audio-Video/Home Theater, and Access Control Systems. We are currently hiring for a technician with the following qualifications:
Experience in security/fire/CCTV/access systems required
Hard-wired system experience required
Audio-Video / Home Theater experience very helpful
IT knowledge (basic) very helpful (port forwarding, IP addressing…)
Applicant must be able to obtain a State of Texas Alarm Installer license
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as well as a pre-employment drug screening
Must be able to work as part of a team
Must be a self-starter
Must have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
Company provided vehicle while working
Usually work as a crew of two
Not a “piecemeal” pay rate – hourly pay and a 40 hour week
Typical business work hours with occasional overtime
