Role Description
This is a full-time on-site and off site role for a Aggregate Salesperson for Far South Mining in San Antonio, TX and the surrounding areas.
The role involves day-to-day tasks related to aggregate sales and operations.
Establish strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Research market and make sales calls to develop customers for the company.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about developments and competitor activities.
Be an excellent motivator and team builder.
Answer customer calls inquiries related to deliveries/products.
Work closely with management and customers to ensure product availability.
Scheduling of trucks for deliveries.
Prepare and submit bids for jobs.
Prepare job info sheets.
Help in collections.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and after hours.
Qualifications
Experience in sales, particularly in the construction or building materials industry
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Knowledge of aggregate products and their applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Proven sales negotiation and customer service skills knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
