Do you have DSD delivery or merchandising experience in pastries, snacks, bread, crackers, etc.?
As we grow it could become full time. Currently I run this part of the route two days a week. It services; Circle K’s, 7/11’s, Quik Trips and Independent stores. It currently makes about $200 per day. It is a 12 hour day, each day minimum. I have many years experience and it takes me 12 hours each day.
You must have a van or large vehicle. A standard car no matter how big
will not work. Pick up trucks will not work either as we are selling pastries and donuts and you have to keep them out of the sun.
You must carry insurance on your vehicle and carry an insurance rider on your insurance to protect the loss of the product in case it is stolen or you are in an accident. My insurance agent says that is not very expensive maybe $100 a year.
