ASRC Federal Data Networx is seeking a Business Analyst Sr. with experience in managing system requirements between business and software development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position will provide expertise and technical support for business process design and improvement using Agile Scrum Framework. This position will be responsible for the following.

• Serve as Scrum Master; coach teams on best practices.
• Lead Kaizen events and monitor progress to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments for the Development team.
• Collaborate with business partners to define, document, analyze, and prioritize business and functional requirements and specifications.
• Write functional specifications and model the requirements and specifications.
• Lead requirements validation and traceability analyses.
• Manage scope and requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Lead the development of common standards and tools.
• Provide customer and Information Technology (IT) support for assigned business applications, work with the user and technical staff to identify the source of problems, and contribute to the development of effective resolutions.
• Support rollout activities and implementations for business and technical units.
• Write training documentation or manuals, prepare presentations, deliver training, and/or provide follow-ups to training.
• Attend seminars, webinars, and on-the-job training to maintain an understanding of business processes and related systems for supported business units.
• Participate in the management of customer expectations and work with technical staff to develop solution alternatives.
• Act as the customer/IT liaison throughout the SDLC, including for activities related to analysis, requirement, definition, and design activities.
• Participate in the Business Change Management and Project Management process.
• Contribute to project deliverables, including vision documents, status reports, project risk management plans, and resource plans.
• Communicate status, business impacts, and system changes to team members, business partners, sponsors, management, and other interested parties.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Gather and work with the organization to prioritize development initiatives and activities.
• Communicate frequently with management across government agencies, commands, and other components associated with the Corporate Dental Application (CDA)/CDS and US Army Dental Information Systems Center

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Insurance, Financial Services, or an equivalent field
• 5+ years' experience in Business Systems Analysis
• 2+ years' experience with applying Scrum or other Agile Frameworks
• 5+ years' experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• 3+ years' experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Scrum Master certification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• US Citizenship required
• Well organized with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Capable of dealing effectively with internal and external customers
• Team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
• Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking with strict deadlines
