We are a small IT consulting company looking to expand with the right people. We set ourselves apart from other IT consulting companies by hiring professional and courteous Technicians who work well in a team environment.
The selected candidate will be required to respond to customer calls and trouble tickets as well as assist with special projects as needed. This can include troubleshooting issues over the phone, via email or going on-site to resolve issues; assisting with hardware and software installation and; running cables. The selected candidate will be responsible for documenting all issues and resolutions in a timely manner using our ticketing software; Assist with preparing quotes, SOWs and MSPs based on the client's needs; Being a liaison between clients and vendors.
The selected candidate will be required to be on-call various evenings, weekends and holidays throughout the year.
Qualifications:
Excellent attendance a must
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in IT or a related field is a plus
1-2 years of experience in a desktop support or technical support role is a plus
Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
Basic knowledge of networking principles and protocols
Experience with network cabling and troubleshooting is preferred
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-Starter
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, courteous service
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
