Implement and manage security controls across hybrid cloud environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines by ensuring security checks are built into automated and manual processes.
Review software releases, cloud deployments, and infrastructure changes for vulnerabilities and risks.
Lead vulnerability testing and drive remediation for on-prem and cloud-hosted applications.
Support audit and compliance requirements tied to regulatory and contractual standards.
Recommend, test, and document security standards for development, DevOps, and release management.
Improve security and operational monitoring for cloud workloads.
Develop and test incident response plans; participate in investigations and recovery.
Help maintain secure development and release environments.
Build and track security metrics to measure control effectiveness.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and cloud security best practices.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional certification required.
AWS Security Specialty strongly preferred; CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, and GCSA (or ability to obtain within 6 months) are a plus.
At least eight (8) years of security engineering experience, including AWS architectural design.
Experience with cloud security tools, logging, traffic analysis, alerting, and compliance monitoring.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and security considerations at each stage.
Experience with serverless architectures, container security, and cloud workload protection.
Background in vulnerability management, virtual patching, and secure configuration of cloud services.
Familiarity with DevOps toolsets (Azure DevOps, Git), SDLC practices, and basic web development concepts.
Working knowledge of WAFs, CDNs, intrusion monitoring, encryption key management, and cloud HSMs.
Understanding of microservices architecture and “as-code” approaches for CI/CD and configuration management.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
