UBA Scope of Work and Payment Terms for Photographer/Videographer
Project: Bowling Entertainment Event Highlights
Scope of Work:
1. Video and Photography Focus:
- Capture the energy and excitement behind the lanes, focusing on bowler interactions, celebrations, gambling, and trash-talking.
- Highlight teams and bowlers as they compete, ensuring to capture the intensity of their interactions entry to completion.
- Avoid continuous shots of people merely bowling. Instead, prioritize moments of celebration, reactions, and lively exchanges.
- If a host is available, include their interactions with bowlers and spectators, including introductory segments with the host.
- Ensure that footage and pictures of event or match winners are captured, especially for UBA events.
- Engage with bowlers and attendees to encourage interaction in both video and photos. This engagement is crucial to capturing authentic reactions and energy.
- All pictures and videos must be of the highest quality, with a strong emphasis on capturing the dynamic energy of the event, rather than static or passive moments.
2. Technical Requirements:
- Ensure proper lighting and appropriate lenses for capturing high-quality images and videos in a bowling alley setting, which can often be dimly lit.
- Bring adequate lighting equipment to ensure bright, clear shots throughout the event.
3. Music for Videos and Reels:
- Use up-to-date, modern, and trendy hip-hop music in the background of videos and reels.
- Avoid older music, as the target demographic is younger, and we want to appeal to their preferences.
4. Deliverables:
- Final edited videos and photos should be delivered within one week from the date of the event.
- Videos should include 3-4 reels approximately one minute to one minute thirty seconds long and or a highlight video between 3:30 to 4:00 minutes long.
- The UBA will receive a reasonable number of edits to all photography and video work until they are satisfied with the final product.
- All media should be of the highest quality, with an emphasis on capturing the lively, energetic atmosphere of the event.
- No branded logos or watermarks should be included in the videos. We want a clean project. The UBA will provide a suitable video intro if needed and sponsor logos if required.
- The videographer/photographer is not permitted to add personal watermarks or logos to any part of the project.
Payment Terms:
- A 50% deposit is required to secure the date, payable by credit card.
- The remaining 50% will be paid upon receipt of the final edited videos and/or photos.
- The photographer/videographer is responsible for providing an invoice that can be paid online by credit card.
- Timely delivery of the final media is essential. Failure to meet the one-week deadline may result in a delay of the final payment.
Additional Notes:
- Ensure all music used in videos and reels is relevant to a younger audience, sticking to modern, trendy, and hip-hop genres.
- The photographer/videographer should be proactive in engaging with bowlers and attendees, encouraging participation to capture the best moments.
- Lighting and equipment must be optimized for the unique conditions of a bowling alley to ensure all shots are bright, clear, and professional.
