We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The Framer will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs, ensuring precision and accuracy in all framing projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Install doors, windows, and other fixtures within the framework
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Utilize various tools and equipment for framing tasks
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for accurate construction
- Experience in siding installation for building exteriors
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation for efficient work processes
- Familiarity with remodeling techniques for renovation projects
- Understanding of construction management principles for effective project coordination
- Expertise in metal stud framing for structural integrity
- Ability to build and frame structures with precision
- Skill in frame carpentry for quality craftsmanship
- Knowledge of masonry work for foundational support
- Experience in drywall installation to complete framing projects
- Metal framing / metal studs
