We are a growing custom fabrication shop looking to add an experienced Lead Fabricator to our team.
- Be able to direct other fabricators effectively throughout each day.
- Manage projects to completion.
- Must not be intimidated by accountability.
- You MUST have your own transportation (i.e.- not bus, rideshare, or your roommate's vehicle!)
- Will be tested on your mechanical aptitude and math skills. Experience working in a shop setting along with familiarity with tools is highly preferred.
- You will be expected to be at work every day on time ready to get at it.
- Your creativity will be valued and appreciated and occasionally demanded.
- Abstract thinking will be used on a regular basis. Solving problems that don't have an obvious solution is critical.
- Communication skills will be necessary, and Spanish a plus.
- Must be excellent at Mig, and at least decent at stick and Tig.
- You will be having frequent customer contact. So, you must be presentable and have a professional demeanor.
- Looking for someone who is excited about the craft, and is looking to advance their fabrication skills beyond the
normal everyday stuff!
- This is a full-time position. We may also occasionally be offering you jobs that we have commissioned, to do yourself, on a Project Manager basis.
