Automotive Locksmith Needed – San Antonio & Austin
Repo Lot Work | High Volume | $100K+ Potential
We are hiring an Automotive Locksmith to handle high-volume key decoding, cutting, and programming at our yards in San Antonio and Austin. This is not retail locksmithing or roadside service. You will work on-site with a steady flow of vehicles, focused on decoding, cutting, and programming keys for domestic vehicles (Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc.) and select imports (Toyota, Nissan, etc.).
Lishi proficiency is mandatory. If you cannot confidently decode locks using the correct Lishi tool, this is not the right position.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency with Lishi tools (standard cut & high-security decoding)
Ability to identify and select the correct Lishi tool per vehicle
Solid understanding of transponder systems and compatible key selection
Working knowledge of immobilizer systems (Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, etc.)
Ability to cut and program transponder and proximity keys, including all-keys-lost situations
Comfortable working outdoors and in warehouse environments
Able to follow direction, work with a team, and stay focused independently
Basic typing and writing skills

Locations: Austin & San Antonio
Schedule: Weekdays, with the option to cut keys on weekends
Pay: $100K+, plus bonus potential for locksmiths who meet requirements
