Stafford Plumbing has been in business for over 40 years as a local residential and commercial plumbing contractor specializing in new construction. We are looking for licensed, experienced plumbers and apprentices to join our team.
Traditional work week of Monday through Friday 7:30 to 5pm with most weekends off
Qualifications for Plumbers:
Current Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License
Experience in Plumbing Service and/or New Residential Construction
Strong ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and repair plumbing systems issues
Clean driving record with valid driver's license
Possess your own hand tools (larger tools will be provided)
Qualifications for Apprentices:
Current plumbers apprentice license or ability to meet the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners qualifications to obtain one
Desire to learn and grow with the company and advance plumbing knowledge and assist plumbers as needed
Experience in Plumbing Service and/or New Residential Construction is a plus
Requirements For All Applicants:
Must pass criminal background check
Reliable transportation to/from company office (Company truck is provided for travel to/from jobsites)
Physical ability to perform the tasks of a plumber/apprentice including but not limited to the following:
- ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- ability to work in tight spaces, reach overhead, continually walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, reach in all directions.
- ability to maintain balance working off the ground using ladders, scaffolds, and/or mechanical lifts.
- ability to operate hand and power driven tools and equipment commonly used in the plumbing field.
- ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold.
