Finish Fix (finish-fix.com) is a new mobile automotive refinish business catering to used car lots, and is looking for an experienced reconditioning technician.
Pay is entirely commission, at 40% of invoices to start. Make on average between $300-500 daily. Position is a subcontracting one, meaning no benefits are offered; you are responsible for your own health insurance/other benefits.
Finish Fix will provide all tools and materials.
Candidate must have valid driver's license, and will drive fully stocked and equipped van to car lots, identify work to be completed, obtain approvals, complete the repairs, and invoice the vehicles at the end of the day.
Currently, only have one, steady account with 1-2 days work per week, but in the process of obtaining new accounts. Any accounts that are obtained/brought over by potential candidate will be 50% commission rate.
Duties and Qualifications:
- drive company vehicle to dealerships with established accounts
- solicit services occasionally to procure new accounts
- assess repairs and get approvals from appointed individual at dealerships
- perform indicated repairs to obtain body shop quality repairs on the lot
- mix solvent based paint by weight/formula
- tint colors as needed
- light to medium body work
- spray and sand primer
- spray basecoat and clearcoat
- buff any and all work necessary
Interview process may involve supervising a repair.
