Swimming Pool Cleaner and Apprentice Repair Tech
The Pool Cleaner role requires a high level of customer service. You will be servicing and maintaining pools, inspecting equipment, and managing customer expectations daily. The Pool Cleaner role is important in our ongoing service standards and quality maintenance agreements with our customers. Pay depends on experience and licensing.
Its primary function is to maintain a route of customer’s pools ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe swimming experience. One year of experience is preferred. Certified Pool Operator license is desirable but not required. This could be a growth position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining safe, chemically balanced and sanitized swimming pools and pool equipment (i.e. filter systems, skimmer baskets, etc.)
Clean debris from pool, empty skimmer baskets and cleaners, backwash filters, vacuum, brush and net EVERY pool, check water chemistry and balance chemicals
Maintaining required maintenance logs, completing work order forms, inventory supplies, and equipment cleaning
Inspect and evaluate swimming pool, deck, mechanical equipment for the purpose of ensuring it’s suitable for safe operation, maintained, cleaned and conditioned properly
Responds to inquiries from customers and management staff to convey information regarding swimming pool operation and sanitization
Keeps route truck stocked adequately with equipment, supplies, chemicals etc. for the purpose of completing a daily route
Practicing safe driving and work habits that comply with OSHA requirements
Assist Lead Repair Techician with duties repairing equipment when not cleaning pools
Requirements:
Maintain an active Driver's License and be insurable
Has a neat appearance
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot or cold, rain or shine)
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Is honest, reliable, ambitious, hardworking, punctual and trainable
Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as effective organizational skills.
