Overview of Role:
We are looking for a motivated housekeeper to support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience. The candidate would take ownership of the property’s cleanliness from the guest rooms and bathrooms as well as maintaining common areas and event spaces. The candidate will work with the head housekeeper and the other departments to not only meet the property’s high cleanliness and productivity standards, but to make sure everything is kept in proper working order and drive guest service levels. Ideally, the candidate is experienced in housekeeping and/or cleaning services, highly dependable and thorough, and comfortable working indoors/outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and turn all guest rooms/bathrooms for new check-ins, daily.
- Cleaning to include mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, changing linens and placing room amenities
- Refresh guest rooms as needed, ensuring all room items and amenities are stocked
- Clean common areas including grounds, event hall, lounge, plaza, common bathrooms, and pool bar
- In-house laundry management: sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and pool linen
- Maintain organized housekeeping supplies, track usage and sort incoming deliveries
- All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor with great care and attention to detail to ensure quality
- Positive, professional, hard-working, enthusiastic, and flexible
- Thorough and detailed oriented, takes ownership of high-quality work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with pen availability as weekends and holidays are our busiest times
- Be organized and work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Stand and/or walk for an extended period of time
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 30 pounds or more without assistance
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
- Good communications skills, outgoing, friendly and able to speak professionally with our guests, your manager and your colleagues
Requirements for Employment:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available to work variable shifts on both weekdays and weekends
- Must be willing to work in an indoor/outdoor setting, including all-weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, etc.)
- Sufficient English is preferred
- Must be able to easily commute daily to Wimberley, TX
Compensation:
$18-19 an hour based on experience
