Farm Help Wanted
Horse Farm in Lockhart Area is looking for a Ranch Hand to perform the following duties.
Stall Mucking
Feeding
Grooming Horses
Turning Horses Out or In on a daily basis
Assisting Farrier as needed
Driving Horses in Horse Trailer to the Vet as needed
Driving to Feed Store to Pick up Feed
Checking Herd daily for general health
Assisting with Breeding which includes but is not limited to:
==> Handling Stallions
==> Mares
General Farm Maintenance,
Requirements For Job Applicants Includes:
Must be reliable and able to be at work each day by 9:00 am
You must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
You must be physically able to lift 50 lbs
Prior experience working with horses
Ability to work variable hours as needed during foaling, breeding and showing seasons
Must be able to work both in a supervised and unsupervised manner
Must be responsible mature individual
Must have at least 3 good references
Candidate should be able to pass a drug screen and background check
