THE POSITION:
We are hiring for textile workers in the San Marcos area. Hours are full time Monday to Friday beginning at 5 A.M. Pay is daily and is $9 per hour. You should be able to:
Sort, inspect and grade textiles according to quality standards.
Feed different types and sizes of textiles into ironers or folding machines.
Fold, assemble and package by hand different types and sizes of textiles.
Place finished product onto conveyors or into carts, dump slings of product onto work tables.
Move loaded or empty carts/bins within the production area.
Process textiles according to type and written packing instructions.
Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
Follow instructions as directed by supervision.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Work in other production positions as needed.
Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
Recognize, inspect and grade product.
Comprehend and follow written packing instructions.
Comprehend and follow direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
You should be able to meet the daily physical demands of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 25 lbs. and stooping.
You must be able to work in an environment which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust.
You must have reliable transportation to get to and from the job on time
You will need to be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States provided you are offered the job
