Perform preventive and corrective maintenance procedures on electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and facilities with an emphasis on getting it right the first time.
Maintain records including work orders and parts usage through utilization of CMMS.
Assist Operations personnel in reducing unscheduled downtime during production.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including spare parts storage.
Follows and enforces company policies and OSHA regulations.
Abide by and contribute to company safety program by participating in weekly safety meetings, monthly safety committee meetings and looking out for your teammates.
Reports to Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager.
Applicant Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues on electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a fast paced production environment.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, frequency drives and robots preferred.
Basic electrical construction skills.
Prior experience with CMMS and basic computer skills.
Reliable, honest, self starting personality.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Ability/willingness to be on call as needed during off shifts.
Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing.
Own hand tools required to complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
