Kelly is seeking warehouse workers for the following roles in South Austin (78744 area)Start this MONDAY!$17.50/hour Overnight shifts only 8 and 12 hour shifts plus OT!Warehouse associateMachine OperatorsQuality ControlProduction Associate,Job Overview: Ensure production schedules are met, monitoring that the area, raw materials, and packaging materials are adequate, while complying with the established time, quality, safety, and food safety parameters.Responsibilities and Duties:Make boxes for packing tortillas, ensuring that the boxes are properly assembled.Organize and clean the work tables, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned.Change the date on the packer and wrapper for each tortilla type change daily.Clean the press conveyor thoroughly.Clean the nets that go in and out of the griddles.Organize the mats in their designated areas.Calibrate the Metal Detector and pass the bags through to ensure they contain no metal.Verify the product's output conditions (Size, Color, and Cooking).Count tortillas in groups of 8, ensuring they are correctly counted and not folded, dirty, too small, or too large.When bagging, ensure the tortilla meets specific requirements in terms of size, cleanliness, and condition.When weighing, ensure each bag has the correct weight and conditions.Properly seal each bag and ensure it is not open. (Check the date of the day).Pack the bags according to the established pattern, putting 12 bags per box and passing the boxes to the packer. Stack pallets with 100 boxes per pallet.Check the pallet wrapping machine and wrap pallets containing 100 boxes with 12 packages each.Monitor for unsafe conditions or actions that could cause accidents.Report any issues that affect production and prevent the process from continuing to the Group Leader.Ensure your work area is clean after production is finished.General Responsibilities:Follow up on quality and safety observations in the product's preparation.Comply with and enforce safety guidelines and internal work regulations.Visibly and consistently demonstrate support for the implementation of safety, health, environmental, and asset security management systems at work.If the production line is stopped for any reason, be willing to do any necessary work in the plant, such as general cleaning: machines, floors, areas, etc.Be willing to work the necessary shifts and hours to achieve the production required by our customer.Show up in optimal condition to meet the day's production goals.Arrive dressed appropriately: smock or apron, hairnet, and shoes in satisfactory sanitary conditions.Be willing to rotate positions (Counting, Bagging, Weighing, Sealing, Packing) every hour, or as necessary.Work as a TEAM – Helping each other is very important to ensure production is successful.Qualifications:Must Speak SpanishHigh school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of food safety regulations.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Working Conditions:Always work indoors.
