We seek a dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our team and provide a visible security presence within one of our clients stores in San Marcos, Tx. This role is vital in creating a safe environment for the customers and employees by serving as a visual deterrent against theft, disturbances, and potential security risks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and welcoming presence to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping experience.
- Conduct regular patrols of the store’s interior.
- Monitor customer and staff activity, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Provide assistance and direction to customers and employees as needed.
- Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to management.
- Comply with store policies and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. citizen, U.S. National, Work Authorization or lawful permanent resident
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- License: No security license required upon hire; we will facilitate training and licensing.
- Availability: Full-time position; flexible to work shifts as scheduled.
- Appearance: Professional attire as specified (black suit, black shirt, black tie, black socks, black lace business shoes, black leather belt).
