Management
Good written and verbal communication skills for corresponding directly with customers
Comfortable working with computers
Experience with SQL (writing and editing simple queries)
Experience with IOT devices and dashboards
MS Excel/Google Sheets (Advanced Skills)

Strong mechanical/electromechanical problem solving skills. (Position requires understanding the physical side of what remote monitoring faults mean and how to resolve them.)
Strong electromechanical skills
Basic understanding or familiarity with machine automation
Basic plumbing and appliance repair
RESPONSIBILITIES
Remote Monitoring
Diagnostic skills - using data from fault conditions to determine mechanical issues
Reach out to customers directly to rectify issues and/or walk customers through preliminary troubleshooting steps
Escalate issues appropriately, collecting all necessary information for further assessment
Customer Orders and Service
Schedule installations and service appointments with all relevant information included
Review of installation checklists for approval
Submit shipping checklist and coordinating device shipments
Create shipping labels, package and ship samples and bottle labels
Dropping off shipments or scheduling pick up
Handle initial outreach in response to support requests from customers
Inventory and Ordering Parts
Keeping track of ordered/received parts
Tracking down alternate vendors for parts
Identifying parts that are end of life and find replacements for any parts before they end
Updating Information
Keep device and customer information up to date
Record device information and update device records with support requests and service calls
Update information about service contact for customer
Keep troubleshooting and process documentation up to date, adding/updating information as necessary
