Metal stud framers needed for project at the LBJ ranch.
Salary: $22 to $24 per hour DOE
Full time work
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials.
Measure, cut, and install metal studs, tracks, and headers using hand and power tools.
Assemble wall, ceiling, and partition frames using self-fastening screws and screw guns.
Ensure structural alignment using levels, plumb bobs, and laser tools.
Coordinate with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to accommodate mechanical systems.
Install bracing, blocking, and backing as required for drywall and fixtures.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with metal framing and use of self-fastening screws.
Proficiency with tools such as screw guns, snips, levels, and tape measures.
Ability to work from heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
Prior experience in commercial construction.
