Beavers Contracting is currently working on a project near Atoka, Oklahoma and we are in need of heavy equipment operators. We are building a dam and have over a million yards of dirt to move. All positions are needed: scrapers, dump trucks, dozer, blade, excavators, roller, mechanic, general labor.
Scraper operators are in need on this project more than anything else All EXPERIENCED scraper hands will start at $23 an hour. If you can verify your experience or show up and prove yourself, we will keep you rolling with weekly overtime, weather permitting. We are running mainly CAT 631 scrapers but have a 637 and also several 621s we rotate in when other machines are getting maintenance.
Any EXPERIENCED, all-around operator that can run anything from a skid steer to a blade and help us maintain and run a jobsite, will start out at $22 an hr. You will need to have experience on a mass excavation jobsite and understand how to keep scrapers rolling. You need to be able to help others and possibly do training or instruction on how, where, and when to dump scrapers/trucks. Also need to have a willingness to adapt to our way of running a jobsite! Everyone runs a construction site differently, if you're willing to work with us and help everyone get on the same path, you definitely have a spot with us (possibly higher pay if everything goes well and we can trust you with more responsibilities).
All other equipment operators pay will be based on experience but will start around $19 and can go up from there. Not afraid to pay what you're worth, if you can prove it to us. Finish hands need to be able to work without GPS. This is a mass excavation site and we break out the GPS machines about once a month to correct slopes.
Dozer operators will be responsible to maintain fill, manage the scrapers, and also be willing to operate a roller, plow tractor, water truck on an as needed basis. Some machines are cab and A/C but not all, need to be able to handle the outside environment.
-$250 bonus for the first month of work completed with no missed days or showing up late.
