Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Plano, TX
Job Description
5+ years managing and/or architecting IT infrastructure
Experience racking and cabling
Experience with networking technologies including 802.1Q and 802.3ad
Experience documenting IT infrastructure including network connectivity, storage and deployment
Nice to have:
Experience installing and operating Kubernetes
Experience implementing DevOps practices based on a strong understanding of principles
Experience implementing or supporting user-supporting secure infrastructure including bastions and VDI
Knowledge Domains/Must understand:
Virtualization vs containerization
OSI layers 1-7, Ethernet, and routing
Infrastructure-as-code
Physical equipment setup and layout
Nice to have:
Container orchestration
Storage area networks
Geographic distribution patterns
Redundancy and high availability
DevOps practices and tools
VDI
Database architecture, e.g. sharding
Requirement (Technologies):
3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
2+ years of experience managing Network Infrastructure including routers, managed switches, and Linux networking configurations
2+ years of experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, etc.
2+ years of experience using virtualization technologies via a CLI
2+ years of experience with containerization on Linux
