OverviewThe Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. ResponsibilitiesExpectations:
Monitor physical and emotional recovery of new mothers
Support mothers needs directly after delivery
Educate new parents on how to properly care for their baby including breast feeding, bottle feeding, and bathing
Provide direct care to antepartum and surgical patients
Assist physicians with newborn procedures
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse Licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing
Mandatory Reporter Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training completed within 30 days of start date
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
NRP
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
