M&M Asphalt Paving is seeking an experienced Asphalt salesman to manage sales efforts and assist with takeoffs on a variety of projects, including city, county, schools, hospitals, and private work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt sales and estimating, with the ability to build relationships with public entities and private clients.
Responsibilities will include: Generating and cultivating sales opportunities, Performing accurate materials and labor takeoffs for asphalt paving projects, Preparing and submitting bids and proposals in a timely manner, Collaborating with project managers and estimating teams to ensure project success, Staying updated on industry trends, pricing, and local government procurement processes.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in asphalt sales, Proficiency in estimating software and take off tools, Strong understanding of local government bidding and procurement processes, excellent communication, negotiating and relationship building skills. Self motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently.
