Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Payroll & Benefits Supervisor at our office located in Waco, Texas. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes, benefits administration, compliance with payroll tax laws, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also be skilled at resolving payroll and benefits-related inquiries. Responsibilities: Execute the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring the timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations, ensuring payroll operations comply with legal requirements and internal policies Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, employee records, and benefit plans Prepare reports for management and external audits as needed Address payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees and management promptly and professionally Resolve issues with discrepancies or concerns related to payroll or benefits administration Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites proficiently to perform job duties Handle confidential information and maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.Requirements Proven experience in a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director role or similar capacity Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, including Great Plains (GPAC) and ADP - Financial Services Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Ability to manage and oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Strong understanding of bookkeeping functions Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with C-Suite and other key stakeholders Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience Professional certification in payroll management is a plus In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and procedures, labor laws, and employment equity regulations Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
