Works independently: Can perform electrical work without direct supervision from a master electrician.
Installs and repairs: Installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, and components of machinery.
Supervises apprentices: May lead and train apprentices on the job.
Interprets blueprints: Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics to plan electrical layouts.
Ensures code compliance: Makes sure all work is done according to local, state, and federal electrical codes.
Troubleshoots problems: Diagnoses and fixes electrical issues.
