Job Overview
We are seeking a shop helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and dependability. This role involves cleaning and maintaining the mechanical shop for hydraulic machinery repair, helping to ensure it operates efficiently and safely. The Helper will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with technicians to provide high-quality service to our customers.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning and organization of the shop and office areas.
Helping technicians as requested.
Possible training for repairs on cylinders, hoses, motors, PTOs, etc (giving room for growth within the company).
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and forklifts safely is helpful but not required.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various repair tasks helpful but not required.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
Cleaning and/or mechanic experience with a dependable, strong worth ethic.
Comfortable working around farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailer systems, standing long periods and heavy lifting tasks
