Join Casey's as a Fuel Terminal Operator in Waco, TX! In this role, you're responsible for the safe and efficient handling of fuel products at the terminal which includes truck loading rack, storage tanks, associated piping and pumps. The Fuel Terminal Operator ensures compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures associated with the operation of the facility. This role requires working overnight shifts and weekends, with flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs operational duties in accordance with terminal operating procedures to ensure the safe loading, offloading, pipeline receipts, product testing and inventory control, safely move product through the Terminal.
Performs Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work Permits, Excavation Permits, and Confined Space Entry permits for safe and effective execution of work.
Performs security and equipment facility walk-arounds, minimizing downtown and unsafe conditions by promptly responding to abnormal findings.
Performs environmental and regulatory checks (eliminating, containing, and reporting all product seeps and spills).
Directs trucks and transport drivers to proper loading stations as needed.
Supports training and authorizing drivers for access to the terminal.
Prepares daily inventory reports, terminal balance reports, and tracks daily activities.
Responsible for maintenance and appearance of facility and grounds.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least two years of experience with petroleum, mechanical or electronics maintenance is required.
At least two years of experience in a maintenance related field position.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to exercise good judgement in stressful situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Work is primarily performed at a Fuel Terminal.
Must live within 30 minutes of Fuel Terminal.
Must be able to work on-call including nights and weekends.
Must be able to tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions, as well as exposure to industrial, high temperature, and dust.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
